The ballet is the discipline most beneficial and most balanced for the harmony of the human body because the exercises are designed in perfect symmetry to one side or the other. More than that, we learn to use both the right and the left side. Even if you have not learned dancing as a youngster you can try because contrary to popular belief that discipline is within the reach of everyone. Indeed, initially these are just basic exercises at the bar and center. The flexibility and grace await you. It is never too late to think or get back to the bar.
